Ducati Adelaide Congratulates Casey Stoner On his first World Championship | | With Ducati, Dreams really do come True !! The dreams of Ducati, Casey Stoner, everyone involved in the Ducati business, millions of enthusiastic fans came true today with Casey taking victory in the 2007 MotoGP World Championship. The championship victory in Japan, the powerhouse of global motorcycle production, was made even more empathic by Ducati with Loris Capirossi also taking victory in the race on his GP7. The journey for Ducati to today's victory started in 2002 with the decision to enter the newly formed MotoGP championship for 4-strokes from 2003. As the undisputed leader of 4-stroke racing and most winning manufacturer in the World Superbike Championship, Ducati saw the new MotoGP championship as the next frontier, the new pinnacle of 4-stroke racing to conquer. After many race wins and podiums since 2003 and using some of key features of all Ducati production motorcycles - Trellis Frame, Desmo valve system and 90 degree Twin Pulse engine, the Ducati GP7 and Casey are the undisputed champions of MotoGP in 2007.
